Guestbook for Artis Orjala

Theresa Kellerman Stiernagle
Todd and Ellen, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. My thoughts are with you

Susan and Allen Clark Harris
Artis was a gentle soul with a great sense of humor, even in her last months. There's a great photo of her and Lois together in the church's collection. Susan remembers her in the Sunday adult class for deep thinkers during the 1990s. Allen remembers visiting her garden and talking about her birds at the farm.

Have many memories of Ardis from all the years I worked at Butlers in which she would bring her film in to be developed of her bird picture, she always shared the one's she was excited about.Spent many hours with Her, my Mother-in-law and their little family at Golden Horizons. May she still enjoy her birds in heaven.

So many good memories of you in my life. The wild ricing adventure with you and Carl, the summer I spent caring for Timmy when he was just an infant, the visit to the farm with my grandkids who loved roaming freely about the barn and fields and climbed on the tractor which was a wonderful and memorable experience for us all and the many, many times you made sweet treats to be eaten...yum yum. I loved that when I moved to the West coast, you wrote to me through the years sharing photos and life events with me. You were the glue that kept the families together. I am blessed to have had you in my life.

Our journeys lead us on adventures; thru forests green and still whispers. Over dusty paths worn and tattered, facing bitter winds that meander to mornings of dewy freshness. And somewhere between the mountains and verdant valleys, between the clouds and the clearing we find our light. With grace, the stardust is received and we join again, illuminata. Thank you dearest Artis for being my mentor and giving me my first Best and lifelong friend. Love and Blessings You will remain, forever in my heart.
