I first met Irma at the Cedar Norwegian Church and she had such a wonderful smile and welcoming spirit (as does her family). Oh, yes the cinnamon rolls served by her and Becky were wonderful. Thanks for the special memories. Irma has a wonderful family. May your memories sustain you in the coming years. She's at rest and with your Dad in heaven.

As I sit here overlooking the lake and seeing the familiar sites of the farm, I think of what wonderful neighbors your Mother and Father have been. Your Mother and I would often talk on the phone or share a laugh over a cup of coffee, as her home was always open to hospitality with the coffee pot on and fresh baked goods to nibble. Your Mother was a lovely woman and someone I was happy to call friend. I will miss her as I have missed your Father. Till we see them again in Heaven - God's Peace.

Becky and the rest of the Rom family, I met Irma when I worked at the blood bank many-many years ago. She always remembered me when our paths crossed at the grocery store, etc. Dick said she made fantastic cini. rolls. Apparently he got stuck with the milk truck and walked to the Rom residence to use a that is really dating him..Anyway, he sampled some rolls right out of the oven. RIP Irma.

As a past member of the Aitkin High School faculty, it was a pleasure to have met and worked with the Rom family. Also, Dave was a good neighbor when we lived in Aitkin. Thanks, Irma, for serving on the school board.
