Guestbook for Elizabeth Alma Lidfors

Muriel Kingsley
I was so sorry to hear that Betty didn't make it to her 100th birthday. She and our mother,Grace Johnson, became very good friends at Aicota Assisted Living as they both visited their husbands in the nursing home next door. She was looking forward to us playing for the monthly birthday party when she turned 100.

My sympathy to the family of Betty. She was such a good friend to our mother, Grace, while they resided in Assisted Living. She visited Mom while she was in her last hours on this earth and made her smile while being so ill. Bless her and her family.

Bernice and Becky, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your wonderful Mother. Even though I hadn't met her, I know that she made you the strong women you are today, and she and your Dad left a wonderful legacy for you. She is in God's light now, reunited with family in Heaven.

I met your mother at Aicota when my mother was also a resident there. Although she wasn't able to see that well she and I would have great conversations together. You were so blessed to have her as your mother!! A true example of a "life well-lived".

I will always treasure my visits with Betty; as you listened you came to know her history, her values, and her unshakeable devotion to her God. She is now at peace with her beloved Hank, and her children she lost so long ago. Until we meet again....

I treasure our chats at church (in her younger years) and at Aicota even as recently as just before Christmas. Her faith was unshakeable, and she is now where she has wanted to be for quite awhile-with beloved Hank and her children she lost so long ago. Rest in Peace, Betty. There will never be anyone like you.

The Lidfords were so much of my growing up years. I think I spent more time at their house than my own. Betty used to make Hamburger with white gravy over mashed potatoes and I always begged to stay for supper Bambi would tickled our feet till we cried. Becky and I would sit at the piano and play (she could play anything). We would sing and sing. Great memories of a wonderful wonderful family. Prayers to all.
