Guestbook for REVEREND STANLEY RAYMOND ERICKSON

Julie Fischer
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I would like to have attended the service but didn't learn of his passing in time. My Dad also passed away this year and always thought of him as close to a brother. I'd like to think they are together now. Love and prayers for you and your family. Your cousin Julie

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Erickson family from Faith Lutheran Church of Coon Rapids, MN where Pastor Stanley served. In March of 1955, 82 persons gathered for the first worship service in a vacant store. In July, there were 117 members and at the end of the year, 169. Currently the membership has grown to over 4000 baptized members. In all, nearly 11,000 individuals have joined Faith Lutheran Church. We are indebted to Pastor Stanley for his leadership and legacy here at Faith Lutheran, Blessed be his memory. God's peace & presence. Pastor Kevin and staff of Faith Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids, MN

The VanOverbekes (Cabin Neighbors)
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Stan and Joyce’s families. Stan was a wonderful neighbor and the first to greet us when we purchased our Cabin years ago. He was very kind and provided much needed advice on building our dream Cabin. He will be missed. Kevin & Cyndi

To my grandfather-Godspeed on your next journey. I will miss the times we worked together. Either in conversation or in physical labor. Physical labor being the majority of course. I've seen and done a lot of things in my life that you were a part of. Some good and some bad or indifferent. Thinking back on those, regardless of how you felt about them you didn't judge me (not out loud anyway)even with our differences of opinion or faith. You always asked how I was doing and did so with a smile. You always have shown me a great deal of respect and I will miss those conversations and didn't really realize how important they would be until later. You spoke of my father with great respect and I don't think I ever thanked you for all the kind words you said at his funeral when my brother and I were unable to do so. Thank you. Your home was always open to me, when "away" is all I wanted and for that I will be grateful to you even though the "list" was always ready. For most of my life you were just "Stan" but I was happy and honored to call you grandfather later on so with that. Thank you Stan and cheers to you on your next journey, your wife was waiting and was growing impatient. May the two of you now rest in peace.
