Guestbook for Melvin Milton Boelter

We all have many fond memories of Uncle Buddy. Some of my favorites are working with him on the farms in Pine City and Tamarack. Buddy taught me how to skip rocks, feed the animals and how to greet everyone like a best friend. Rest in Peace Uncle Buddy.

Oh, Dear Uncle Buddy! What a life he and Uncle Tudy had. So glad they were well-cared for by the Oakridge staff and enjoyed activities and life events in later life. I have many fond memories from early childhood when they lived next door and later, fun times at the farm (Pine City and Tamarack). I am sad that I cannot attend service and celebration of life on Saturday but happy to know Buddy is reunited with his blessed brothers, his mother, Grandma, Jim & Arla, Gene and so many others in Heaven including all his favorite pets!

Melvin was a beautiful human being. It was my honor and privilege to get to know and take care of Melvin this past year. He liked coming to my house to play with my dog and drink coffee and eat cake and talk about stories of his youth. He even got out on the lake to enjoy a boat ride a few months ago. Melvin loved to go on outings and we went on a lot, especially when it involved food. I will cherish the time I spent with Melvin for the rest of my life. Godspeed,Godbless, Goodnight. Love, Mr. T
